BlastInvest.com founder Henry Lu has been investing for more than 10
years in stock market. Although Henry made
his first investment success in momentum stocks, he became
increasingly frustrated with super-risky nature of momentum
stocks, high tax burden of short-term trading method, and
poor performance of those fund managers. As a result, Henry began to
learn and compare those different methods of famous stock market
traders and investors. Many years ago after studying 2 books
titled INTELLIGENT INVESTOR and SECURITY ANALYSIS written by Benjamin
Graham, Henry started to utilize long term value investment method
following the steps of Warren Buffett and Ben Graham. The result
was staggering since then in that Henry achieved performance comparable
to the performance of those SuperInvestors or
famous value
investors with 36% compounded yearly return for 5 years between
1999 - 2003.
In late 2003, Blast Investor Real-time Plus
newsletter was born. In August of 2004, BlastInvest LLC was
formed in Connecticut to deliver premium investment newsletter
services based on long term value investment philosophies. Our goal is
to make successful investment easier and more understandable for the
